I enjoyed taking out my daughter for her first trick-or-treat this weekend. It's still amazing to me that we didn't have to bundle her up; I remember growing up in Ohio that our costumes always had to include a winter coat. Anyway, it was fun watching her enjoy the halloween spirit, which she seemed to understand since in the car she declared "Candy Day!" on the way home.
And of course a nice thing about walking up to all your neighbors' houses is that you get to check out their plants and creative pumpkin carving close up!
